Known commonly as “JAUDY jewel”, discover the small port of La Roche Jaune, a hamlet composed of a few low houses, located on the banks of the Jaudy, on both sides of a ravine. It owes its name to the lichen whose stones are tinted.

The Belvédère site offers visitors a very beautiful perspective on the Jaudy estuary. Downstream is the estuary and its particularly famous oyster site, then the island of Er, where you can go at low tide from the Pleubian coast. Upstream of the river, woods line the banks. From the tip of Plouguiel to the mouth of Lizildry Creek, you face the Bay of Hell. Here is revealed the wild landscape of the country of Plougrescant.

The departure is not very far from the cottage of Pont-Losquet, your holiday rental near Tréguier.
You can park at Plouguiel, 9km, near the chapel of Saint-Laurent and then loop on foot. Variations exist according to your desire to walk. The setting for this ride is pleasant and relaxing.
You can also complete your walk with a visit to Kerstellic Garden, a remarkable garden. Stream, pond, waterfalls and exotic plants … (Entrance fee – open from April to September).
