Beauport Abbey is one of the visits not to be missed from the Pont-Losquet guest house.
Very close to Paimpol, the abbey constitutes a remarkable monastic complex which overlooks the sea and the island of Saint-Riom. The view is beautiful.
Founded in 1202 by the order of “Prémonté”, it delivers 800 years of religious history to the visitor. For 500 years, until the French Revolution, the religious community built this place and lived there in compliance with monastic rules.

Acquired in 1992 by the Conservatoire du Littoral, it has become an essential place both for its architecture and for the 120 hectare area that houses it. Marshes, moors, conservatory orchards, an enclosed garden, reed beds and a cloister are all spaces to discover. It is an exceptional place to walk which presents a remarkable biodiversity.
Do not miss the visit of the gardens, the orchard which conserves 60 apples varieties. With which cider is made! Of course !
